Prior to joining Ambarella, Malhar Palkar worked with LG, Hewlett-Packard, LSI Logic, and C-Cube, holding a range of core management positions specializing in firmware design, imaging technologies, image quality tuning, video codec development, embedded systems, and product line management for mass-market consumer products. Malhar currently serves as Ambarella's safety architect in charge of ISO 26262 and ASIL compliance, and also manages the development of software tools to easily port DNNs onto Ambarella silicon.
