As we begin to plan for next year’s CES, we thought it would be worthwhile to reflect on the 2022 show. After going virtual last year, we were grateful to be able to host our partners, investors, and customers for a weeklong showcase of our products and applications. Check out this short recap video…
In all, we featured over 30 demos and customer products, while giving rides in our fleet of R&D autonomous vehicles. Covering a wide range of markets for AI enabled cameras and radar, the list of demonstrations included home and office security, access control, robotics and machine vision, DMS/OMS solutions, and forward AD/ADAS perception demos from Ambarella and our growing ecosystem of third party software partners.
Our theme this year was Perceive. Plan. Perform, which can all be achieved with a single chip from the new CV3 AI domain controller family that we announced at CES. This family provides the automotive industry’s highest AI processing performance, at up to 500 eTOPS. The result is robust ADAS and L2+ to Level 4 autonomous vehicle systems with greater levels of environmental perception in challenging lighting, weather and driving conditions for both driver viewing and machine perception.

We also debuted our breakthrough AI-based image signal processing technology. This new architecture uses neural networks to augment the image processing done by the hardware ISP integrated into our CVflow® SoCs. With this approach, we enable a 10 to 100x improvement over state-of-the-art traditional ISPs, along with new levels of HDR processing and low light color imaging.
The Ambarella team looks forward to showcasing our latest innovations at next year’s show. See you in Las Vegas!
