Ambarella’s low-power systems-on-chip (SoCs), ranging from video processors to 5nm AI domain controllers, offer high-resolution video compression, advanced image and radar processing, and a powerful AI engine to enable intelligent perception, fusion and planning. These hardware offerings are complemented by our adaptive 4D imaging AI radar software and full AD software stack, which are optimized for our SoCs.

AI Radar Software

Ambarella’s Oculii™ adaptive AI 4D imaging radar software provides vehicles with greater environmental perception and safer path planning in L2+ to L4 ADAS systems, enabling a more comprehensive view of the surroundings and a safer driving experience.  The Oculii AI radar algorithms uniquely adapt radar waveforms to the environment, achieving high angular resolution (0.5 degrees), an ultra-dense point cloud (10’s of thousands of points/frame), and a long 500+ meters detection range, while using an order-of-magnitude fewer antennas for reduced data bandwidth and power consumption versus competing 4D imaging radars. It is available for licensing, and is offered pre-loaded on any member of Ambarella’s CV3-AD centralized AI domain control SoC family. Contact us for more information.
